By making a booking for transport services with Lime Travel the client agrees to adhere to our terms of service and therefore we advise that you read this carefully and in full. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. Our contact details can be found on our website
We will provide clients with transportation to the given destination(s) and a charge will apply as per the booking confirmation sent to the client of which they must pay on completion of the service being provided.
Making a Booking
Bookings can be made via telephone or through our website. As soon as we have received details of your request we will provide you with a cost for your journey including details of the service requirements.We will make a booking once we have received the client’s written or verbal acceptance of the agreed cost and service requirements. We will confirm the booking with you by sending you written confirmation by email, sms or letter. By making the booking with Lime Travel you are agreeing to all the terms and conditions set out.
Should you need to cancel or make amendments to your booking you must make us aware at least 24 hours prior to the agreed pickup date and time given to you in your booking confirmation. Prices & Payments
Prices listed on our website or any other literature or social media are subject to change and will be confirmed to you at the time of your booking. Payments must be made directly to the driver on completion of the service being provided by cash unless other options are being made available by the driver on the day of transport.
Waiting charges will apply in certain circumstances and will be charged at a rate of £0.20pence per minute/£20.00 per hour. We will allow up to 20 minutes waiting time from the agreed booking collection time without a charge. For arrivals at airports we allow up to two hours waiting time without a charge. After this time waiting time charges will apply.
Planning your journey
It is your responsibility to ensure you have planned your journey time and made allowances for any unforeseen travel disruptions.
It is important that you make us aware of all pickup and drop off locations of all passengers at the time of booking as there may be additional charges for multiple collection or drop off destinations so that we can provide you with an accurate cost for your journey. The driver may need to charge additional fees should you make changes on the day of travel.
Safe to travel
Every passenger must be safe to travel by adhering to any safety requests or instructions given to them by the driver.
Drivers have the right to refuse transport to any passenger(s) who is acting in a verbal or physically threatening manner to the driver or other passengers or any other reason they deem a passenger(s) is unsafe to travel, full costs of the agreed booking fees will apply to the client in this event.
Every vehicle provided by Lime Travel has a limitation to the amount of luggage it can transport with passengers. It is the client’s responsibility to check with Lime Travel before travelling how much space is available in the vehicle for luggage.
The law does not require child restraints (baby seats, child seats, booster seats and booster cushions) to be provided in private hire vehicles. However we will do our best to arrange the provision of child restraints.
Should you require child restraints then you must make us aware of this at the time of your booking so that we can confirm if this is something we can provide for your journey.You can use your own child restraint if you wish, however it is your responsibility to ensure the safety of the restraint and suitability for your child. The driver or Lime Travel has the right to refuse the usage of any restraint should they deem it unsafe or impractical for the journey.
We will not be held responsible for any costs incurred to any passenger(s) as a result of a delay or cancellation of our service including but not limited to vehicle breakdowns, late pickups, cancelled transport, refusal of conveying a passenger or any other eventualities in or out of our control such as but not limited to traffic delays or any other unforeseen events. Lime Travel and our drivers will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to any personal items during transportation. We will do our best to locate and return any lost and found items to its rightful owner. Clients will be responsible for paying any packaging or postal costs for any items we return to you.
